Realab A component of this platform, Realab, provides web access to Entelos’ predictive computer models of human and animal disease physiology, allowing life scientists and clinicians to preview the likely effects of therapeutic interventions in silico (in computers) before designing in vitro and in vivo studies. Realab’s virtual environments can be used to quickly and safely evaluate a range of "What If" scenarios, to inform and optimize research and clinical development in the real world. Using realab, experiments that may take months or years to conduct in the real world can be simulated in less than 24 hours, ultimately reducing time and resources spent. DRC The Diabetes Research Center (DRC) was established to address key scientific questions related to the onset and progression of diabetes. DRC provides academic researchers access to the Center’s in silico modeling and biosimulation capabilities, which includes the Type 1 Diabetes PhysioLab® platform, a computer-based mathematical model of non-obese diabetic (NOD) mouse.
