ADA Urges Senate to Address COVID-19

March 24, 2020

On Monday, ADA CEO Tracey Brown authored an op-ed calling on Congress and state leaders to provide relief for people with diabetes, including access to insulin and telehealth, as the nation fights the COVID-19 pandemic. ADA has also joined partner organizations to ensure that people with chronic diseases including diabetes are offered important relief like paid sick leave and access to COVID-19 testing and treatment free of cost-sharing. You can click here to see the press release announcing the letter. You can also read the letter here. We continue to advocate for leaders to help people with and at risk for diabetes during this unprecedented health crisis and will provide further updates as they are available.
