CVS is also a supporter of ADA awareness and wellness-based initiatives throughout the year.
CVS and the ADA are coordinating efforts to work toward common goals of preventing diabetes and improving the lives of people impacted by the disease. Together, CVS and the ADA will raise awareness by encouraging people to learn their risk for type 2 diabetes through ADA resources made available to CVS’ Project Health and HealthHUBs and online ADA Risk Test screenings. As “Partners in Good Health,” CVS and ADA will enhance consumer solutions for living well with diabetes by educating people about the health risks associated with the disease, providing access to support tools and resources, reinforcing the important role health and nutrition play in diabetes management, and supporting healthcare professionals.
