Osagie Ebekozien, MD, MPH, CPHQ, is the Chief Quality Officer for the American Diabetes Association (ADA). In this role, he leads ADA efforts to transform diabetes and obesity quality outcomes and improving access to evidence-based practice.
He most recently served as the Chief Medical Officer for T1D Exchange, Boston. In that role, he led diabetes clinical affairs, quality, healthcare access, and population health improvement. Prior to his time at T1D Exchange, he held roles in several capacities in primary care transformation, obesity, and type 2 diabetes management.
He is a recipient of several awards including the 2024 James Reed NMA Outstanding Physician, 2022 Eli Lilly Leonard (Diabetes Research), the 2021 ISPAD International Pediatric Diabetes Innovation, and the 2019 NACCHO Model Practice awards amongst others. He has co-authored more than 100 manuscripts and is a frequent speaker at professional conferences
