The Striker Society

The Striker Society, named in honor of Cecil Striker, one of the founders and the first president of the American Diabetes Association® (ADA), is an exclusive national giving community that celebrates the impact of dedicated philanthropy and the significance of individual donors in accomplishing the strategic mission and vision of the ADA. If you’ve been supporting the ADA through local events and donations, you may be closer to joining The Striker Society than you think. The Striker Society recognizes all individuals who contribute $5,000 or more cumulatively within a calendar year.

Together, we lead the fight for all of those affected by diabetes until we achieve our vision—a life free of diabetes and all its burdens.

The Summit Circle

The Summit Circle is the American Diabetes Association’s honorary society to recognize individuals and families that have remembered the Association in their will or other estate plans. Generosity and foresight of these donors will continue to increase hope for a world free of diabetes and all its burdens. When you make this important commitment, you are invited to become a Summit Circle Member. Summit Circle members are invited to local events with opportunities to meet pioneering researchers. They also have access to the latest diabetes information: Impact reports to let them know of innovations in diabetes care, nutrition and activity programs, and updates on advocacy as we work to improve the lives of people with diabetes.

Read the stories of donors who have already included the Association in their estate plans.

If you have already remembered the American Diabetes Association in your will or other long range plans, please contact us by calling 888-700-7029 or email us at plannedgiving@diabetes.org so that we may properly express our appreciation and include you as a member of the Summit Circle.
